Prepare For Audition
Download the audition materials and prepare for the audition. We recommend choosing a part, practice reading the lines and singing the songs. Don't worry if you aren't selected for the role you want, everyone in the camp gets a part!
On Audition Day
On audition day, don't worry about dressing for the role, we will provide the costumes after roles are selected! Each performer will have 5 minutes and are asked to recite lines and sing a song. If you are nervous, that's OK! While it is exciting to be on stage for your first time, it is totally normal to be a little nervous. We will help you grow out of your stage fright!
Daily Rehearsals
Rehearsals are every day, Monday – Friday, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Grades 1-4 rehearse from 9 AM – Noon. We ask that performers arrive a few minutes early so that they are ready to start promptly at 9. During the school year, rehearsals are Tuesday - Thursday evenings & Saturday mornings. We would like for you to check your schedule very carefully to see if you can attend all rehearsals. We understand emergencies arise and we will work with that. Our rehearsal time is VERY short in the summer and we need our commitment.
Performances
Performances are typically 7-9 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 3-5 PM on Sundays, on two consecutive weekends. We encourage you to invite all of your friends and family to Get Tickets before they sell out! Performers should arrive 2 hours early to get in costume, warm up, and prepare for the performance. Now is your chance to get on stage and perform for your friends and family! As they say in the theater business: Break a leg!
